This is one from the archives that is worth resharing. I won’t ramble on, I do that enough in my new posts :D. You can use this with chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, clams, veggies, mushrooms, anything you would use normal tempura with. It works. Just precook the meat before coating, this stuff cooks fast and food safety is important. I’m using a new recipe format that allows you to enter in how many servings you want and it automatically adjusts the ingredients and is printable. Let me know how you like it.

  • Heat up some oil to fry in of your choice in a deep fryer or small sauce pan to about 350F. Put two tbsp protein powder in a bowl, set aside. Make the batter with the remaining ingredients by doing the following steps (it's easy, I promise). Whisk the eggs. Add the dry, whisk until well combined. See? Easy! Take a couple of cubes of chicken, toss around in the bowl of protein powder (dry) so the batter will stick better. Drop them in the batter to coat all sides (use a toothpick as a skewer, it keeps your fingers clean). Let excess drip off, then drop in hot oil. Keep them moving so all sides get a nice light brown. Remove to plate, repeat. Eat. Done. Eat them like this, make a sauce like sweet and sour, do whatever you want. LOOK HOW FLUFFY THAT IS!!!
