Making another store run today so this is a quicky, but since I’ve seen people on Facebook get discouraged with the carbs in commercial breakfast sausage, I thought I’d share how the Hobbit overcomes it. He makes his own :

Hobbit's Keto Breakfast Sausage

  • Servings: 6
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Print

  • 1 lb ground pork (or turkey, beef, or combination)
  • 1 tsp ground sage
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp fennel (optional)

With a couple of forks, break up the ground meat.

Quick and dirty Sunday - Keto Breakfast Sausage

Sprinkle your spices over the meat. Using the forks, combine well, making sure the spices are all distributed evenly. Make into 6 patties.

Quick and dirty Sunday - Keto Breakfast Sausage

Brown in a skillet. You can eat them right away, or freeze for a quick nuke-and-eat in the morning.
